Tom Cruise Oatmeal, I am not really sure where Matt got the title for this recipe, But it looks great to me and somewhat healthy? It is quick to prepare, total time about 20 minutes, 5 minutes prep and 15 minutes of cook time. I tried it and I loved it! Tom Cruise or not, but at least the title got me to try it? So, Mission accomplished!
Ingredients you will need to have on hand or find at the grocery:
1⁄2 cup rolled oats
1 peach, Chopped
1 cup almond milk
2 tablespoons almond butter
DIRECTIONS Gather ingredients. Chop peach into desired size pieces. Bring almond milk to boil. Add rolled oats, and reduce to low/medium heat. Cook for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add almond butter, stirring it in rapidly. Cook for additional 5 minutes. Add peach, stirring into mixture. Turn off heat, and allow to sit for a few minutes. If desired, add water, cinnamon, and/or brown sugar. Mission: Success.
